Thank you!

The Caribbean dance party this April was more successful than ever! People opened their hearts and together we raised nearly $20,000 after expenses. A few huge donations, new teacher and student sponsors and the overall generosity of folks made for a great night for the Eben Ezer School. And as always, Combo Sabroso put on a show that made the night. We congratulate the winner of the quilt, Peter Welch of Kittery, and thank Chris Chidester for her amazing handiwork.

Thank you to everyone. As we continue to hope, pray, wish, and dance for a better Haiti, we can feel good about being part of this amazing community of support.

Educating Children in Milot, Haiti

Life and Hope,  a 501-C3 nonprofit organization registered in New York State,  runs the Eben Ezer School in the rural town of Milot in northern Haiti. More than 500 children in Milot are able to attend school because of Life and Hope’s work. The school was founded in 2003 by Lucia Anglade, a Haitian-American woman who wanted to give something back to her country. She began the school on the land that held her childhood home.Schoolyard in Milot, HaitiEben Ezer School in Milot, Haiti
